A deal brokered during the closed season will see all nine rounds of the 2025 FIM Sidecarcross World Championship series broadcast live on the FIM-Moto TV platform. This is an immensely important development underlining the perceived value of the championship in the eyes of the governing body.
It also further enhances the profile of the sport and will therefore benefit the teams in terms of exposure and potential sponsorship. The sidecar motocross action will join an array of top motorcycle disciplines already enjoying exposure through FIM-MOTO TV.
The same is true of the EMX Quadcross championship where those five rounds share the sidecar GP weekend. Fans of both series will witness first-hand title defences by Marvin Vanluchene, now re-united with Nicolas Musset, and for the Quads, Briton Harry Walker, as he fends of the attentions of an ever-growing list of would-be champions.
WSC pioneered their live stream coverage during 2024, utilising the Starlink internet system combined with state-of-the-art broadcasting techniques to beam both Sidecar and Quad qualifying and GP races live to loyal subscribers, backed up by the TV Highlights show a few days later. This new agreement will mean many more homes will have access to the live stream through the FIM platform.
The final event of the season scheduled from Heerde in The Netherlands, is the Sidecarcross and Quadcross of Nations, guaranteed to attract a truly global audience.
