The scheduled interactive press conference ahead of the 2025 Sidecar and Quadcross of Nations took place Thursday afternoon in the main administration building at the Heerde Motocross facility in the Netherlands.
A panel of experts and officials including Martin Bena the WSC promoter of both classes, and Gerritjan Vierhuizen the organiser, answered questions and expanded on the spirit of the event.
A live stream into the Facebook socialmedia site stimulated viewers to contribute, with several questions and observations coming in from that source.

Team Manager for the USA Quad contingent Mark Baldwin, and Gert van Werven, manager of the Netherlands sidecar crews, had with them Chad Wienen, Stephan Wijers, Jens Vincent and the only lady competing, Emma Bray from Team Ireland.
A lively audience from the paddock and members of the press were entertained for over forty minutes by the information imparted, as well as welcoming a “new generation” electric sidecar race outfit built and launched by Gert van Werven.Gerritjan Vierhuizen added to that conservation and environmental theme with the announcement that the entire event would be battery powered, only resorting to generators as an emergency situation.

The whole show was highly professional, well-received and deemed a great success.
Just one day of preparation and final registrations remains before we kick off the action here in Heerde, with everyone geared up for what is bound to be yet another brilliant “Nations” competition.
